SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATIONS OF U(Ⅵ) AND Th(Ⅳ) COMPLEXES WITH TWO OPEN-CHAIN CROWN ETHERS WITH TERMINAL QUINOLYL GROUPS

    • U(Ⅵ) and Th(Ⅳ) complexes with two open-chain crow n ethers, 2,2’-(ethyleneioxy)bis(8-quinolyloxymethyl)benzene(L 1) and 2,2’-(ethylenedioxy)bis8-(quinaldyloxymethyl)benzene(L 2), are prepared and characterized by using 1H NMR, IR spectra, thermal analysis, molar conductivity and elemental analysis. The chemical formula of the U(Ⅵ) complexes is UO 2LNO 3NO 3·3H 2O(L=L 1,L 2),and ThL(NO 3) 2(NO 3) 2· n H 2O(L=L 1, n =1;L=L 2, n =3) for the Th(Ⅳ) complexes.
