STUDY ON THE EXTRACTION OF MOLYBDENUM(Ⅵ) WITH N,N,N′,N′-TETRAISOBUTYL-3-OXA-PENTANEDIAMIDE

    • By using 40% noctanol and kerosene as diluent, the extraction behavior of molybdenum(Ⅵ) with N,N,N′,N′tetraisobutyl3oxapentanediamide(TiBOPDA) from nitric acid solution is studied. Varations of temperature have nearly no effect on the distribution ratio of molybdenum(Ⅵ). There is no obvious heat effect in the extraction process. From 1 mol/L HNO3 solution, molybdenum(Ⅵ) is extracted in the form of MoO2+2. The composition of the extraction complex is MoO2(NO3)2·2 TiBOPDA. The extraction mechanism is attributed to the neutral complexation extraction. The extraction equilbrium can be expressed as follows:MoO2+2+2NO-3+2TiBOPDA(o)MoO2(NO3)2·2TiBOPDA(o)
