STUDY OF RADIOLYSIS PRODUCTS OF FLUORORUBBER F2313

    • Fluororubber (F2313) is irradiated with gamma rays in air, nitrogen and vacuum respectively. Degradation gases, such as H 2,CO 2,CO 2,HF and HCl produced from F2313 radiolysis are determind by GC MS and ion selected electrode (ISE).The G values of HF,HCl and CO 2 are determined. It is found that CO 2 is produced only in air ambience when the dose increases to 50 kGy.While H 2 is detected in all three ambinces respectively after the dose increases as high as 250 kGy.The content of HF,HCl and CO 2 are all increased with dose. The amount of H 2 is increased with dose too and the amount of H 2 is least in air ambience.Groups of CF CF formed in F2313 after radiolysis are identified with IR.
