  • Two new extractants HCBMPPT ) and HFBMPPT (2fluorobenzoyl)2,4dihydro5methyl2phenyl3Hpyrazol3thione are synthesized from PMP (1phenyl3methypyrazolone). The structures of these two compounds are confirmed by means of elemental analysis, mass spectrometry, IR, 1H NMR and Xray crystal analysis. The solvent extraction of U(Ⅵ) from nitric acid solution by HCBMPPT in toluene is studied. The distribution ratio of U(Ⅵ) increases with the increasing pH of the aqueous phase. When the concentration of HCBMPPT increases, also the distribution ratio of U(Ⅵ) increases rapidly. Meanwhile, the chemical composition of extracted complex and the extraction mechanism of extraction reaction are discussed.
