    STUDY OF THE RECOMBINATION OF H_2 AND O_2 AT AMBIENT TEMPERATURE

    • The hydrophobic catalyst(Pt SDB) prepared in our laboratory is used to catalyze the recombination of H 2 O 2 at ambient temperature. The influence factors ,such as cooling type, non catalytic packing, temperature, space velocity and catalyst amount, are investigated. The experimental results show the hydrophobic catalyst can efficaciously catalyze the reaction between H 2 and O 2 at ambient temperature. A mass balance model is obtained and agreed well with the experimemtal results.
