ANALYSIS OF CHEMICAL SPECIATION OF ~(90)Sr, ~(137)Cs AND ~(239,240 ) Pu IN THE RADIOACTIVE SLUDGE WASTE

    • The sequential extraction and parallel extraction methods have been used to estimate the chemical speciation of 90 Sr, 137 Cs and 239,240 Pu contained in the radioactive sludge waste. It is found that 90 Sr mainly exists in bonded state with organic substances, 137 Cs is predominate present as insoluble residual and 239,240 Pu exists both in bonded state with organic substances and as insoluble residual.
