DETERMINATION OF STABILITY CONSTANTS FOR Np(Ⅳ) AND Pu(Ⅳ) WITH ACETOHYDROXAMIC ACID

    • Acetohydroxamic acid has strong complexing ability for tetravalent actinides. Liquid liquid extraction method has been adopted for determining the stability constants of Np(Ⅳ)and Pu(Ⅳ) with acetohydroxamic acid. The complexes of both Np(Ⅳ)and Pu(Ⅳ) with acetohydroxamic acid have one co ordination number in 1mol/L HClO 4 at 20℃. The stability constants lg β 1 corresponding to Np(Ⅳ) and Pu(Ⅳ) are 11.34 and 13.00,respectively.
