Abstract
The permeability of 137 Cs in granite is studied with 134 Cs as its simulation nuclide and the kinetic curves of adsorption are measured in a specially designed cell at different pH and temperatures. The kinetic constants and activation energy are obtained. The corresponding kinetic equation describing the migration of 137 Cs is suggested. A series of the important parameters of diffusion, permeability and adsorption are determined. The calculated and experimentally observed dates are compared and discussed.
