    COMPLEXES OF Th(NO_3)_4·6H_2O AND UO_2(NO_3)_2 6H_2O WITH MACROCYCLIC POLYETHER 2,4-DI-KETO-16-CROWN-5 SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION

    • Complexes of the macrocyclic polyether 2,4-diketo-16-crown-5 with Th(NO3)4·6H2O and UO2 (NO3)2·6H2O are prepared in solid state and characterized by chemical analysis, infrared spectra, as well as thermogravimetric (TG) and differential thermal analyses (DTA). X-ray powder diagrams of these compounds indicate that real complexes are formed.The complexes obtained are proved to be Th(NO3)4·C11H18O7·H2O and UO2(NO3)22· C11H18O73·H2O.
