MEASUREMENT OF FISSION YIELDS FROM ~(235)U FISSION INDUCED BY 24.4 keV NEUTRONS

    • The fission yields of 99Mo, 132Teand 140Ba from 235U fission induced by 24.4 keV neutrons are measured radiochemically. The neutron source is an iron filter neutron beam from a swimming pool reactor. The fission number is recorded by polycarbonate film as a fission track recorder, which is immersed in liquid uranium standard targets.
