Abstract
The basis for studing the ion exchange equilibrium of dibasic radicals on the organic ion exchange resin with Kielland model is suggested. The Kielland equation can be extended to Ⅰ-Ⅱ valence exchange equilibrium by the study of RHCO3-CO2 3- sytem. The mixedexchange equilibrium constant KA B= -CO2 3-/GCO3-2·aRHCO32/aR2CO3 = 2.41 and the characte-ristic constant C=0.24 at t=25℃, μ=0.30 are determined by 14C tracer. Compared with the exchange system RHSO4-SO2 4-, the sequence of selectivity is as follows: HSO-4> SO2 4-CO2 3->HCO-3. The problem about the conversion of dibasic acid radicals in the resin phase is also discussed.
