ION EXCHANGE SEPARATION OF TRANSPLUTONIUM ELEMENTS IN AQUEOUS-ALCOHOL MEDIA Ⅰ. THE SYSTEM OF CH3OH-NH4NO3-HNO3-DTPA-ANION EXCHANGE RESIN

In this work the distribution coefficients of Am and Cm between the solution of CH3OH-NH4NO3-HNO3-DTPA and anion exchange resin are studied. The results show that the separation of Cm from Am is considerably improved, the separation factors between Am and Cm can be as high as 3.5-3.7.The separations between Am-Cm-Cf are performed with suitable eluant mixture in column experiments.
