STUDY OF THE SEPARATION OF Rh FROM Pt, Pd, Ir BY RADIOTRACER ME-THOD.

    • Extraction or ion exchange method is used with radiotracer 197Pt, 109Pd, 192Ir to study the separation of Rh from Pt, Pd, Ir. After pretreatment of the test solution in HC1 medium with excess Cl- ions Pt (Ⅳ), Pd(Ⅳ), Ir (Ⅳ) exist in the formes of MCl2 6-and Rh (Ⅲ) in Rh (H2O)3 6+. They are separated by primary amine N1923-kerosin (20%V/ V) as extractant or by H-type organic resin (150-250mesh). By these methods Rh is quantitatively separated from Pt, Pd and Ir.
