DETERMINATION OF THE CONTENT OF SELENIUM IN SELENIUM YEAST BY NAA

.We succeeded in cultivating brewers yeast, saccharomyces cerevisia, containing various concentrations of sodium selenite in glucose-glycine-yeast (GGY) extract medium. The content of selenium in selenium yeast was determined by NAA. The results indicate that this method is accurate and needs less time than other methods.
