ANALYSIS OF ~(32)P-ATP BY HIGH PERFORMANCE LIQUID RADIOCHROMATOGRAPHY

    • A mixture of AMP, ADP and ATP was separated by columns of YWG-CH, YWG-NH2 and YWG-RNC1 using concentration difference between KH2PO4 and K2HPO4, KH2PO4 and Na2HPO4, KH2PO4 and KC1. Excellent separation was obtained by adjustment of buffer concentration, 32P-labelled compounds were detected by plastic scintil-lator flow cell, some parameters of which were tested. The relationship among 32P-ATP activity (D), mobile phase vilocity (F), volume of the flow cell (Vc) and total count (N) was found be D=8.5×10-5 NF/Vc.
