Abstract
Hollandite-rich synroc with different simulated ~(137)Cs separated from HLW is fabricated and tested.The fabricated samples have good physical properties: density(≥4.2 g/cm~3) and open(porosity)(≤0.1%).The mine phase assemblages,elemental distribution and micro-structure are analyzed by using X-ray diffraction(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive spectrometer(SEM/EDS).The chemical durability test are carried out by using MCC-1 method(90 ℃,28 d) and PCT method(90 ℃,28 d).The results show that under the conditions of 1 200 ℃,20MPa and strong deoxidized atmosphere hollandite-rich synroc can be well used for immobizition of cesium with loading of 3.0%~4.5%.
