    THE DISTRIBUTION OF OXIDATION STATES OF ~(130)T FORMED IN ~(133)Cs(n, a) REACTION INDUCED BY 14MeV NEUTRONS

    • The Chemical behavior of 130I hot atoms formed in 133Cs(n,α) reaction induced by 14MeV neutrons has been studied. The reduced states (I-+I°) are separated by extraction, and IO3- and IO4- forms are isolated by strong-base anionic exchange column. Results show that the recoiling atoms formed by nuclear reaction prefer reduced states in solid matrixes.
