Abstract
The influence of monomethylhydrazine(MMH) concentration, acidity, temperature and heat preservation time on decontamination of ruthenium(Ru) have been studied in the paper. By solvent extraction method, a reaction rate equation of the system studied is obtained as follows:r=Kc6.38(RuNO(Ⅲ))•c2.60(MMH)c-0.88(HNO3). The reaction rate increases with the increase of MMH concentration, while decreases with the increase of nitric acid concentration. The Ru distribution coefficient decreases obviously by 2 h pretreatment with the system of 0.1mol/L MMH and 0.2mol/L HNO3 at 75℃. By this way, the extractable Ru content decreases, and the effect of pretreatment is obvious.
