Synthesis and Radiolabelling of ［¹⁸F］FEDPA as an Imaging Agent for Apoptosis

Synthesis and fluoro-radiolabelling of apoptosis imaging agent ［¹⁸F］FEDPA were reported. The labeling precursor 2-2-［2-(3,5-bis(2,2’-dipicolyaminomeyhyl)-phenoxy)ethoxy］-ethoxyethyl amine was prepared with the total yield of 5%(based on compound 4). ¹⁸F-labeling of the precursor gave ［¹⁸F］FEDPA. The radiochemical yield is (8.9±0.3)% (n=2, decay corrected) and radiochemical purity is 77% determined by HPLC.
