    Synthesis and Radiolabelling of [18F]FEDPA as an Imaging Agent for Apoptosis

    • Synthesis and fluoro-radiolabelling of apoptosis imaging agent [18F]FEDPA were reported. The labeling precursor 2-2-[2-(3,5-bis(2,2’-dipicolyaminomeyhyl)-phenoxy)ethoxy]-ethoxyethyl amine was prepared with the total yield of 5%(based on compound 4). 18F-labeling of the precursor gave [18F]FEDPA. The radiochemical yield is (8.9±0.3)% (n=2, decay corrected) and radiochemical purity is 77% determined by HPLC.
